We covered the Gospel of John verse by verse over 24 sessions.
We called this series, “Back to Basics” because mainstream Christianity has lost sight of the saving message that Jesus presented. John wrote his Gospel, and chose specific signs from Jesus’ ministry, so that we would be convinced and thus believe that He is Who He said He is, and believing, have life in His name!! (John 20:31)

We saw many examples in this Gospel where Jesus offered the free gift of everlasting life, focusing on the following four important points:

  • the gift (life eternal that can never be lost)
  • the Giver (Himself, the Lord Jesus)
  • the eternal nature of the gift (will never hunger, never thirst, never perish, never be cast out)
  • how one receives the gift: (believe in Him)

This beautiful and timeless study brought us back to the basics of the saving message. If you ever wondered if you were “truly” saved, you would definitely benefit from watching this study! These sessions were recorded live on zoom Tuesday evenings from January to June 2026.

The epistle of James: John taught us to believe in Jesus for everlasting life. James teaches us to live it out! Be a doer of the Word because faith without works is a dead faith and will never feed the hungry. We are to suffer honorably in the trials of life and lay aside the sin so that we can look into that perfect law of liberty. Join us live! We’re studying James on Tuesdays in the month of July 2026.
